Gecko Consultancy was established in 2007 by Ann Hunter
and Jackie Raven. Their aim was to provide extensive
therapeutic services for children (including those in care),
families and professionals

Our offices are based in Burnley, Lancashire
however we provide our services nationally for
example Gecko have travelled to Kent,
South Wales and East Anglia.

Gecko also presents training and workshops to public

Both Ann and Jackie have worked therapeutically with children and their carers to produce
positive outcomes for many years. Ann Hunter is a UKCP registered psychotherapist with
a post-graduate certificate in child care and family practice. Highly experienced, she has
been practicing for over 10 years and has worked as a consultant and trainer offering
help to the public and private sector, including: residential teams, foster carers, teachers,
education professionals, Jackie Raven is a UKCP registered psychotherapist with an MA in TA
Psychotherapy. She has been practicing as a therapist for over 15 years. She has extensive
experience as a practitioner, trainer and supervisor working for the private and public sectors.
One area of expertise is assisting with attachment issues for looked after children.
