Supervision
Supervision of direct work between a carer and a young person is an important component of effective child care. The team at Gecko have used their experience to develop a key working model that incorporates supervision to promote best practice.
Supervision would address clinical issues including:- Young person's presentation
- Planning future work
- Transference and counter transference issues in the sessions
- Developing and maintaining safe practice
- Transferring skills into practice
